Tattooing... a word used to be associated with sailors, bikers and back alleys. Today things have changed. The things that can be accomplished tattooing by top level artists is mind blowing. I, as an apprentice', (which I still am) was taught to treat what I do with utter reverence. I'm not some rockstar looking to score with chics or make friends and have a wild party life, hell I don't even go to bars. Tattooing consumes me, on my mind constantly. Works that I feel were sub par kept me up for nights without sleep. I have nightmares about messing up. Basically I take what I do very seriously, and I think some people learning the trade should take a serious step back, look at their work and reevaluate how dedicated they are to making the marks they are permanently putting on someone elses body for life, are the best they could be.
